Chairman of the Dartford Conservative Association, Cllr Tom Oliver said, “I am delighted with the team of candidates we are putting forward at this election. All our candidates are focused on community first and are committed to helping Dartford to recover and prosper post-covid.”

Dartford North East candidate Peter Whapshott said, “I am honoured to be representing my community at the local elections. Residents deserve a local choice and I intend to be a voice for them. Having lived in the area for 35 years I know what a great place it is but also what could be done to make it even better. If elected I will clean up our streets, fix local roads and make resident proud of their community."

Swanscombe & Greenhithe candidate Cllr Danny Nicklen said ““I am delighted to be standing at this election to represent the area I live in at Kent County Council. Significant changes are happening locally and I want to be your voice and champion. My priorities are residents priorities, namely, making sure the potholes are filled, visible policing and delivering overdue local infrastructure projects".

Jan Ozog candidate for Dartford West said “I am delighted to be standing in my local area at this years elections and representing the people of Dartford West. This starts with continuing to oppose Sadiq Khan’s Dartford Car Tax that would cause harm to hard working families”.

Dartford East candidate Penny Cole said on being selected, "I am proud to be standing at this year's local elections and representing the people of Dartford East. Bluewater is an important part of the local retail and hospitality sector, which provides hundreds of jobs in the local area. I will be a strong voice for residents and local businesses as we Build Back Better"

Ann Allen candidate for Wilmington said, "I am honoured to be representing my local area that I have called home for 50 years, it is a fantastic place to live with a great community of people. I will continue to stand up for residents, promoting good local services and protecting our green spaces.

Jeremy Kite for Dartford Rural said, "I am honoured to be representing the people of Dartford Rural, it is a fantastic place to live with great people. The pandemic has shown the best of our communities with friends and neighbours coming together. I want to keep that community spirit going, support our public services and promote local projects."

The Kent County Council election will take place on Thursday 6th May alongside the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections.
