It is disappointing to hear that Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has backed Sadiq Khan’s plan to expand ULEZ.
He could have chosen to back working people, and called for an end to this cruel form of taxation and stop this £12.50 a day charge, but instead he is supporting Sadiq Khan’s plan.
Conservative MP for Dartford, Gareth Johnson said, “This endorsement of ULEZ by Keir Starmer is very regrettable. The Mayor of London and the entire Labour Party are not listening to what people are saying in Dartford.
No one here wants, or supports ULEZ.
This expansion will be a disaster for hard working families. We must speak out against this tax at every turn and Keir Starmer’s support for the Labour Mayor of London will not stop us from opposing ULEZ.”
