Up and down the country, councils are cutting bin collections against the wishes of many local residents. Some councils now only pick up household waste ONCE A MONTH.
Conservative Dartford is proud of our weekly bin service but we still listen very carefully to what you tell us. We know that a growing number of households find that it's their recycling bin which fills up first so we've come up with the perfect solution.
One of the options in our Big Bin Vote means you can leave lots of extra recycling for collection by placing it in bags we supply. If you leave out more recycling. We'll take it.
On top of that, we plan to offer a small kitchen caddy for those who wish to see a better use for food scraps and because this is one waste product that needs to be collected quickly, we plan to collect that weekly too.
On Thursday 4th May, you can vote for a Council that delivers on your priorities.
Vote for more recycling. Vote to keep weekly bin collections. Vote Local Conservatives.
